Natural Aid for Stomach and Systemic Acidity

Used to help neutralize excess internal acidity, manage occasional stomach discomfort, and support balanced body pH, whether in everyday use, off-grid situations, or when conventional treatments are limited or unavailable.

Sodium bicarbonate is a natural alkaline substance that helps neutralize excess acid in the body. It can be used to relieve occasional indigestion, support systemic pH balance, and reduce acidity-related discomfort from stress, poor diet, or environmental conditions. In both daily and survival scenarios, proper use can help maintain internal balance and support overall wellness.

Ingredients

  • Pure baking soda (sodium bicarbonate, no added aluminum or leavening agents, not baking powder)
  • Clean drinking water
  • Non-metallic cup or container
  • Measuring spoon (¼ or ½ teaspoon)

How to Use It

  • For balancing dietary acidity: Dissolve ½ teaspoon of baking soda in 8 oz of water, and drink once daily on an empty stomach. Best used after eating highly acidic meals or drinking alcohol or coffee.
  • For excess stomach acid (indigestion or heartburn): Mix ¼ teaspoon in water and sip slowly as needed to relieve discomfort.
  • For general systemic pH support: Take ¼ teaspoon in water up to 3 times per week, ideally on an empty stomach, to help buffer overall acidity.
  • For skin-related pH imbalance (acne, inflammation): Drink ¼ teaspoon in water every other day to reduce acidity that may contribute to skin irritation.

Warnings

  • Do not exceed 1½ teaspoons per day internally unless under medical supervision
  • Not for daily use over long periods — may lead to alkalosis or affect electrolyte balance
  • You may want to avoid if you have high blood pressure, kidney disease, or are on a sodium-restricted diet
  • If symptoms persist or worsen, seek professional medical help

Storage & Shelf Life

  • Store in a sealed container away from moisture and strong odors
  • Shelf life is indefinite when kept dry
  • Label clearly for internal use (especially if storing with other powders)

When to Use Baking Soda for pH Balance

  • After high-acid meals, alcohol, or caffeine consumption
  • To manage indigestion or heartburn when no antacids are available
  • As a short-term remedy for body-wide acidity, especially in high-stress, high-carb, or low-nutrient survival diets
  • When access to healthcare or medications is limited, and symptoms are mild
