Why it's on my list
The best long-term option for hauling water, hunting and heavy loads. Built for dense, heavy, irregular cargo: water containers strap cleanly to it, the weight rides correctly, and it holds up to repeated use. If you hunt, it serves more than one role. The link applies my discount automatically.

What it is
The frame the water-hauling page is built on: a load-carrying frame with a meat shelf that takes a bag, a water container or a strapped-on load. Mainframe II adds the Cradle hip belt, Contour shoulder harness and higher load lifters for heavy weight. Three colors.
