Why it's on my list
One of the three ways to light in my bug-out bag: butane lighter, ferro rod, stormproof matches. These light after a soaking, and wind does not put them out.

What it is
Heavy-duty matches that light after being soaked or buried, in a sturdy carrying case. Wind and rain do not put them out.
