Why it's on my list
It replaces the bungees and Velcro that used to rattle around the bag: a saw lashed to the outside, a lantern hung, a bin lid held, a load tied to the rack, water riding high and tight on a frame. The pieces are weather resistant and stretch enough to hold and not enough to slip.

What it is
Silicone Infinity Tool straps and studs that snap, loop and lash: a strap set that replaces bungees, carabiners and zip ties for holding gear to a pack, a bottle to a frame, a tarp to a line. Three kit sizes. The lashing system in the bug-out bag, grab-and-go and water-carry pages.
