Why it's on my list
The cheapest pair for the house: two Wouxun KG-805G GMRS radios ready to use out of the box, with spare batteries, better antennas, truck power and AA cases. Not as tough as the Rocky Talkie and not as simple, but two radios for the price of one and every channel and repeater setting you need. Code BUCKHORN at checkout.

What it is
Two KG-805G GMRS handhelds (all 30 GMRS channels, 5 watts, 128 memories) with the spares that matter in an outage: two extra USB-C batteries, two upgraded Bandit-G antennas, two battery eliminators for the truck, two AA battery cases, two USB-C chargers, and a laminated frequency card with the 3-3-3 plan. The two-radio starting point in the comms guide.
