Toor Knives Darter S, Shadow Black
The Haley Strategic fighting blade: a sharp spine without a double edge
Big ticket
Why it's on my list
From the same San Diego shop as the Mullet in my sling: a midsize fighting blade designed with Travis Haley, with reverse serrations on the spine so the back of the knife cuts too, which gets around the restrictions on a double-edged blade. CPM M4 at about 60 Rockwell, a wet-grip G10 handle and a Kydex sheath that mounts to a belt or a sling.

What it is
A midsize fighting blade made with Haley Strategic Partners: reverse serrations on the spine give the back of the knife a cutting edge without the legal problems of a true double edge. CPM M4 steel heat-treated to about 60 Rockwell, a black G10 handle with red liners and a machined texture that grips wet, and a FlexTech Kydex sheath with adjustable retention. Handmade in the USA.
